Uttar Pradesh development boards to play T-20 ties


Ghaziabad, Nov 6 (IANS): The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) is to organise T-20 cricket matches involving eight development authorities of Uttar Pradesh at the Nehru Stadium here.

Addressing media persons at a press conference here, GDA vice chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav said the first match will be played Nov 8. The principal secretary, housing, will inaugurate the match.

Only authority officers and employees can take part after producing credentials authorised by their vice chairmen, clarified Yadav.

Teams from Moradabad, Lucknow, Allahabad, Kanpur, Agra, Muzaffarnagar, Bareilly and Gorakhpur development authorities will be in the fray.
