Mangaluru, Sept 24: Dr Ajay Kumar, registrar (development) of Srinivas University, has been nominated as a member of the newly constituted Karnataka State Allied and Healthcare Professions Assessment and Rating Board.

The Board has been officially established by the Karnataka State Allied and Healthcare Professions Council under the Department of Medical Education, Government of Karnataka.

Dr Ajay Kumar completed his postgraduate studies and PhD at Srinivas University, Mangaluru, and has been associated with the institution for the past 25 years. During this period, he has served in the Department of Physiotherapy as well as in university administration.

His extensive academic and administrative experience has been instrumental in shaping the growth and development of the university over the years. The prestigious nomination reflects Dr Kumar’s contribution to the field of allied health sciences and his commitment to advancing standards in healthcare education.

The Board, management, faculty and staff of Srinivas University congratulated Dr Ajay Kumar on the nomination and extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to him on the recognition.

The nomination comes as the Karnataka State Allied and Healthcare Professions Assessment and Rating Board begins its role under the Karnataka State Allied and Healthcare Professions Council, with the Department of Medical Education, Government of Karnataka, overseeing the framework.

Dr Kumar’s association with Srinivas University spans 25 years, during which he has contributed to both academic and administrative activities, particularly through his work in physiotherapy and university administration.
