Udupi: 17,181 students to appear for II PUC exam-1 at 29 centres

Udupi, Feb 17:  A total of 17,181 students will appear for the Second PUC examinations for the academic year 2025–26 in Udupi district. The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board will conduct the II PUC Examination-1 from February 28, 2026 to March 17, 2026.

As many as 29 examination centres have been established across the district to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations.

In 2026, a total of 17,181 candidates have registered for the examination in Udupi district. This includes 16,657 fresh students, 383 private candidates, 135 repeaters, and six candidates seeking improvement in their results.

The examinations will be conducted from 10 am to 1 pm on the scheduled dates.

In connection with the examinations, a district-level meeting was convened on February 17, 2026, during which necessary instructions were issued to the concerned officials. The district administration has taken all required measures to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the examinations.

Students must compulsorily produce their hall ticket at the examination centre. Entry into the examination hall will not be permitted without a valid hall ticket.

Candidates are strictly prohibited from bringing mobile phones, smartwatches, or any other electronic gadgets into the examination centre. Such devices must not be carried within the premises.
