Chennai, Feb 16: The team behind director Sivakumar Murugesan’s upcoming film starring Sivakarthikeyan unveiled the title Seyon on Monday, releasing a striking first-look poster that has generated buzz among fans.

Backed by Raaj Kamal Films International, the banner of Kamal Haasan, in association with Turmeric Media, the film is described as a grand rural commercial entertainer. The makers have positioned Seyon as a major family spectacle slated for 2026, promising a blend of rooted emotions, mass appeal, and broad-based entertainment.

Sharing the poster on social media, Sivakarthikeyan wrote, “We join hands one more time — for a mega celebration! #Seyon #SK26 #OneMoreTime.” The title poster presents the actor in a rugged rural avatar, seated on a stone throne decorated with peacock feathers, a machete resting on his shoulder. With oiled hair, a toned physique, and peacocks around him, the look hints at a powerful, larger-than-life character.

The announcement has drawn added attention as it reunites Sivakarthikeyan with Raaj Kamal Films International following the commercial and critical success of their earlier collaboration, Amaran.

Produced by Kamal Haasan and R. Mahendran, the project also marks director Sivakumar Murugesan’s second venture after the upcoming Thaai Kizhavi. The film will feature music by Santhosh Narayanan, marking his first collaboration with both the production house and Sivakarthikeyan.

Cinematography is handled by Vivek Vijayakumar, editing by San Lokesh, art direction by R.K. Nagu, and costumes designed by Keerthy Sampath and Joshua Maxwell.
