Bantwal, Sep 18: In a shocking incident, miscreants allegedly beat to death an expensive pet dog and buried it, at Nettarkere in Kallige village. The case came to light on Thursday, September 18.

The pet dog of Dolfy D’Souza, a resident of Nettarkere in Kallige village, had gone missing since Wednesday, September 17.

 

During the search on Thursday, September 18 it was revealed that the neighbours had allegedly beaten the dog to death with sticks and buried it nearby.

In connection with the incident, Dolfy D’Souza has lodged a complaint with the police against neighbours Yatin Poojary and Yashin Poojary.

    Before I moved into my house and got a dog, there were more than 3 burglaries in 2 houses on that road. All were very scared. The case is still not solved. Now they complain about my dog and don't realize that they are safe because of it.

    100 percent no one can compare or anyone ever compared sun with moon. Both are playing significant role in this universe. Sun can only visible during the day. Can sun give bright light during the night ? No...it's next to impossible. Only moon can give light during the night. Many many writers, poets, criticisers, singers, lyricists, movie producers have narrated the beauty of moon light in their own ways very very beautifully. Still moon is visible during the day many a times..But, under the moon light, there you can see see shining starts, planets, comets, milky way, mist on the blue sky. All such things can anyone experience during the day when sun is in the sky ? If you are the sun, I am the moon. Sandnychya rati nilellya molbar taranso mel salotha. Moga yo moga yo santhosan disco nasoya. Voilya molbar tho sandr pole thiltha. Sannyache savleri mogar tujya podli, punvecha sandrema etc etc. some konkani songs I heard eventhough I am hindu. There are many tulu songs, innumerable hindi songs written/sung on this moon light. Please do google search. So sun cannot be compared with moon. Moon is awesome 👍💪

    Dog was irritating or no.... . Your comparison to the incident is utterly irrelevant. Don’t compare your life to others. There’s no comparison between the sun and the moon. They shine when it’s their time.

    some so called pet dogs are a nuisance to people living in the vicinity of the owner...they take them out on roads and do not clean the poop as they do in western countries...just showing off is not enough..owners should also teach manners to the dogs

    Bro why are people victim blaming the DOG. It looks tiny in the picture attached. There is a next-to-nothing chance that the little bugger could do any real harm to anyone there. Also, beating a tiny dog to death with sticks and then burying it right after does not sound like an act of self-defense to me.

    whether the dog was irritating, whether it was free mooving, neighbours would have given complaint if they were disturbed by it and not beat it to death. As a living being the animal has the right to live. If our family member is irritating do we kill them? no one has right to kill. we speak a lot about law and order but we have no law and order within oneself and become so creuel towards another life

    These type of dogs would not easily give up. The are strong and defend any given time. Possible that it was poisoned and latter beaten to death. Chances of some robber who was finding the dog an hurdle in his profession.

    It is not jealousy or anything. The dog must be misbehaving. If the owners ignore the trouble caused by their dog then this is the solution. 100 percent dog must have misbehaved with neightbours children or elders.

    The loss is a loss to the Owner of a Dog. My opinion is fine the accusers three times more of the value of the Dog and give it to the Owner.

    Whoo are these frustrated neighbours im sure they were jealous of this sweet dog and yes for sure they couldn't bear to see someone so cute and loyal because im sure they dont have anyone who is so loyal and living to them .     Its nothing but an barbarian act. the neighbour should have informed the dog owner. Why should they should take such a drastic step in beating and killing the dog. Inhuman act. For their crime give harsh punishment.

    First question is where were owners?And they didnt notice when dog was beaten to death?Dog was roaming around?Thats their big mistake .That should be cleared first.If dog was disturbing them or bitten ,owner should be taken to task.Whatever it is a poor animal who belonged to someone else shouldnt be so simply kill and burry. Whatever it is they should pay for it .
