Washington, Oct 30: Pennsylvania billionaire Jeff Yass and his wife Janine have contributed $30 million to a super Political Action Committee (PAC) supporting Indian-American Republican Vivek Ramaswamy’s campaign for Ohio Governor, making them the biggest funders of his campaign’s outside allies, according to a donor tracker by The Washington Post.
The Yasses are the third-largest donors of the 2026 election cycle, contributing around $110 million, behind only Elon Musk and shipping magnates Elizabeth and Richard Uihlein, the tracker showed. It is based on Federal Election Commission (FEC) data available as of October 23.

Their largest single recipient is V-PAC: Victors, Not Victims, which The Washington Post identifies as supporting Ramaswamy. The PAC has received $30 million from the couple.
FEC filings processed so far show Jeff Yass contributed $20 million to V-PAC in three instalments: $10 million in March 2025, followed by $5 million each in January and March 2026.
The figures are rounded, and FEC disclosures are self-reported by committees and may be amended.
According to FEC data, V-PAC reported raising around $60 million and holding approximately $12 million in cash as of September 30. Yass’s contributions account for about a third of its receipts in the FEC tally, or roughly half according to The Washington Post.
Other major contributors to V-PAC include investor Ross Stevens, who donated around $6 million, software entrepreneur Ratmir Timashev ($5 million), Musk ($5 million) and hedge fund manager Bill Ackman ($1 million), FEC records show.
ITServe Alliance, an association of Indian-American-led IT services companies, has also contributed around $275,000 to the PAC.
Ramaswamy, the son of Indian immigrants and a former Republican presidential candidate, is contesting the Ohio gubernatorial election scheduled for November 3 with the endorsement of US President Donald Trump.
Apart from V-PAC, the Yasses contributed around $18 million to the School Freedom Fund, a school-choice super PAC, and approximately $17 million to Club for Growth Action, according to the newspaper.
FEC filings also show that Jeff Yass donated $16 million to MAGA Inc., the main pro-Trump super PAC, and around $13 million to Protect Freedom PAC, which supports Senator Rand Paul.
Jeff Yass co-founded Pennsylvania-based trading firm Susquehanna International Group, while his wife Janine founded a charter school in Philadelphia and advocates school choice, the report said.
The Brennan Center for Justice counts Yass among traditional finance donors, whose share of contributions among the top 40 donors has fallen to 15 per cent in the current election cycle as funding from the cryptocurrency and technology sectors increases.
The 50 biggest donors have contributed around $2.8 billion during the current cycle, with Republican-leaning donors accounting for approximately $1.7 billion, according to The Washington Post.
