Mumbai, Oct 30: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and his wife Gauri Spratt celebrated their first Karwa Chauth as a married couple on Thursday, attending the annual festive gathering hosted by Sunita Kapoor at her Juhu residence in Mumbai.

The couple arrived hand in hand, drawing attention as they entered the venue. Aamir opted for an understated black-and-blue kurta set, while Gauri wore a royal blue Banarasi suit. She completed her traditional look with minimal accessories and subtle makeup.

The occasion marked the couple's first Karwa Chauth following their marriage on July 5, 2026. They tied the knot in an intimate registered ceremony at Aamir's residence in Mumbai's Bandra area, attended by close family members and friends.

Sunita Kapoor continued her annual tradition of hosting members of the film fraternity for the festival. The gathering brought together several actors, filmmakers and celebrity families.

Among those present were Farah Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, Anshula Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Tahira Kashyap, Mini Mathur, Padmini Kolhapure and Neelam Kothari. Bhavana Pandey, Maheep Kapoor and veteran screenwriter Javed Akhtar also attended.

Sonam Kapoor arrived in a rust-maroon outfit paired with statement earrings and an eye-catching handbag. She completed her look with a braided hairstyle and subtle smoky-eye makeup.

Shilpa Shetty chose a pink saree with a contrasting green blouse, while Mira Rajput wore a champagne-gold saree. The guests added to the festive atmosphere with colourful traditional outfits and jewellery.

The gathering was also special for Anshula Kapoor, sister of actor Arjun Kapoor, who celebrated her first Karwa Chauth after marrying Rohan Thakkar earlier this year.

On the professional front, Aamir was last seen in a leading role in 'Sitaare Zameen Par', which was released in theatres on June 20, 2025. He was also associated as a producer with the 2026 film 'Batwara 1947'.
