Mumbai, Oct 29: Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has revealed that marriage is not on her immediate agenda, saying she plans to wait at least another two to three years before tying the knot with her boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya.
Janhvi shared her thoughts during the latest episode of filmmaker Karan Johar’s popular talk show Koffee with Karan, which aired on October 28. Actor Varun Dhawan and special guest Arjun Kapoor also joined the conversation, which featured candid discussions about relationships and personal life.

During the episode, Karan brought up the break-ups reportedly involving people in Janhvi’s family and social circle. These included Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora’s reported separation, rumours of a split between Janhvi’s sister Khushi Kapoor and actor Vedang Raina, and reports of Tara Sutaria’s separation from Veer Pahariya.
Janhvi spoke about how they had supported one another through relationship troubles, saying, “We managed each other even though our own separate break-ups with other people. So, we are very good at managing.”
When asked to offer dating advice to Vedang, Khushi and Veer, Janhvi advised Vedang to “stop overthinking” and said she did not think Khushi needed advice at the moment.
Her message for Veer was, “Never take her to a concert.” The remark appeared to refer to the controversy surrounding Tara Sutaria’s appearance with singer AP Dhillon during his Mumbai concert, following which speculation about her relationship with Veer surfaced online. Neither Tara nor Veer has publicly confirmed a separation.
When Karan asked Janhvi about her own wedding plans, the actress made it clear that marriage was still a few years away. “Not for another 2-3 years for sure,” she said.
Varun, meanwhile, shared his views on meeting former partners. Asked whether he was comfortable meeting his exes, the married actor replied, “I am married. Now, whatever anyone wants to do, whatever the ex wants to do, they can do what they want. I'm happy in this zone.”
The ninth season of Koffee with Karan is streaming on JioHotstar, with new episodes released every Wednesday at 7 pm.
