The specially designed four-gram gold coin was recently unveiled at Abaran’s showroom on West of Chord Road in Bengaluru as part of the celebrations marking the 125th birth anniversary of the late Burde Sadananda Kamath.

Born in 1901, Burde Sadananda Kamath established his first jewellery showroom, ‘Neo Jewellery Mart’, in Udupi in 1935, laying the foundation for a family legacy in the jewellery business spanning more than nine decades.

His son, Madhukar Sadananda Kamath, subsequently expanded the business under the name ‘Abaran’ and commenced the company’s operations in Bengaluru in 1983.

Today, Abaran operates four showrooms in Bengaluru. The Rolex boutique at Taj West End is also part of the group.
