Bantwal, Sep 6: Sri Rama Pre-University College, Kalladka, hosted the 'GoodArc' Career Workshop conducted by Good for Good Charitable Trust under its FutureFit series. A total of 72 students from the CET–NEET Integrated Science batch participated in the programme, which is designed to guide learners from career fundamentals to practical exposure and future readiness.
The programme began with the lighting of the lamp by members of Good for Good Trust, marking an auspicious start. Chaithanya, lecturer in Computer Science and coordinator of the CET–NEET batch, welcomed the gathering and explained the importance of the workshop.
The Trust members were introduced to the audience by M Pratheeksha, a II PUC science student. The session was also attended by Reshma, lecturer in Biology.

The topic of the day’s programme was 'Fundamentals to Future Readiness: Building Clarity and Capability for Career Growth'. The workshop was led by Pavan Rai and Roshan Rajeev, who delivered an engaging and interactive session.
Pavan Rai encouraged students to reflect on their innate strengths and sharpen their abilities through examples and interactive discussions. Roshan Rajeev guided students on setting clear goals, adopting the right approach, and preparing themselves for both competitive exams and long-term career opportunities.
The session included question–answer exchanges, reflective activities, and examples that helped students analyse their current skills and identify growth areas.
The workshop highlighted that future-ready students need both strong fundamentals and practical orientation. Learners were encouraged to take an honest look at their present abilities and shown practical ways to progress step by step.
In his closing remarks, Roshan Rajeev outlined how the follow-up sessions will proceed and urged students to prepare actively for deeper engagement.
The event concluded with Chaithanya felicitating the Good for Good members with mementos and thanking them for bringing such a valuable initiative to the college. Faculty and students described the session as both inspiring and eye-opening.
Among the Trust representatives present were Akshay Suvarna, president; Sachith, joint secretary; Guru Prasad, logistics head; and Ratan Servegar, technology kead. Their presence reflected the Trust’s commitment to strengthening educational initiatives across the region.
Through 'GoodArc', Good for Good Trust plans to extend similar programs across Dakshina Kannada. The initiative, as part of the FutureFit series, seeks to bridge the gap between classroom education and the real-world skills students need to succeed.
