Mangaluru, Aug 24: Jesnia Correa, grade IX, fondly known as the Golden Girl of Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru, has once again proved her mettle on wheels by clinching two gold medals at the CBSE Cluster Level Roller Skating Championship held in Palakkad, Kerala.
With unmatched speed, stamina, and determination, Jesnia raced past her competitors to secure the first place in the 1000m rink race as well as the 500m rink race in Under -17 category, and held at Vyasa Vidya Peetham, Palakkad, Kerala on August 23 and 24, bringing laurels to her school, parents and coaches.






Her remarkable feat is a continuation of her golden journey in the field of skating, where she has consistently displayed excellence at both state and national levels. Jesnia’s victory at the CBSE Cluster II Championship not only highlights her sporting spirit but also stands as an inspiration for aspiring young athletes.
Jesnia hones her skills at the reputed Hi Flyers Skating Club, Skate City, Ashoknagar, under the dedicated guidance of her coaches Mohan, Prateek Raja, Ramanand and Kumar, who have played a vital role in moulding her into the outstanding athlete she is today. Standing firmly behind her journey are her proud parents, Jerome and Pritha Correa of Bejai, whose constant encouragement and unwavering support continue to drive her ambition.
With this double gold, Jesnia has strengthened her place as one of the most promising young talents in Roller Skating, continuing her golden chase in 2025. The school management has wished he best for the CBSE National Roller Skating championship which will be held at the end of October 2025 in Haryana.
