Abdul Rehman murder case: Arrest tally reaches 9 with absconding accused nabbed

Bantwal, July 1: In connection with the murder of Abdul Rehman of Kolattamajalu and the assault on Kalandar Shafi, the Bantwal rural police have arrested one more accused who had been absconding.

The arrested individual has been identified as Shivaprasad (33), a resident of Thumbay village in Bantwal. He was apprehended at Rayi in Bantwal.

According to police, the arrested accused was produced before the court on June 30, which remanded him to police custody for further interrogation.

With this, the total number of arrests in the case has risen to nine. Abdul Rehman was murdered on May 27.
