Managluru, Jun 28: St Theresa’s School, Bendur, held its Annual General Body Meeting and Felicitation of Toppers on June 28 at the School Auditorium.
The programme commenced with Sonia Bhat as the emcee, followed by a guard of honour presented by the students. The dignitaries lit the sacred lamp, invoking blessings for the occasion. Students performed a graceful prayer dance and a melodious welcome song, adding vibrancy to the event.











































The dignitaries on the dais were Sr Shaila, the chairperson; Dr Priyanka, the resource speaker; Sr Shubha, superior of the Bethany Mother House; Sr Lourdes, the principal; and Collette Cabral, the PTA vice president.
Sr Lourdes, the principal, extended a warm welcome to all. In her keynote address, Sr Shaila, the chairperson, emphasised the importance of partnership between the school and parents in building and nurturing an environment that develops students into competent leaders. She said, “Every child is a gift. With the support of parents and the vision of Bethany, our children will not only become academically strong but also grow into individuals with values.”
The toppers were honoured for their outstanding academic performance. Clarice Pinto of class X, the top scorer for the academic year 2024-25, delivered an inspiring speech, sharing her journey of hard work and dedication.
The resource person for the day, Dr Priyanka, addressed the gathering on ‘Strong roots, stronger minds – Nurturing emotional strength in children’. She highlighted practical ways to raise responsible children with emotional resilience, encouraging parents to build strong foundations at home to support holistic growth.
Ruksana introduced the resource person, and Veena presented the minutes of the previous AGM and Annual Report. Savitha D’Silva presented the PTA accounts. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Rolita Pinto, followed by the National Anthem.
The event reinforced the commitment of St Theresa’s School to academic excellence rooted in values, in partnership with dedicated parents and visionary leadership.
