Udupi, May 17: The Rosary Credit Co-operative Society Shirva branch is all set to relocate to its new premises located at Townstore Main Road, Shirva. The formal inauguration ceremony will be held at 11 am on May 19.
The event will be presided over by Johnson D’Almeida, president of Rosary Credit Co-operative Society Limited, Kundapura. The new premises will be blessed by Fr Lesley C D’Souza, parish priest of Our Lady of Health Church, Shirva.
Sri Sri Eshanvittaldas Swamiji of Sandeepani Sadhana Ashram, Sri Kshetra Kemaru, will inaugurate the security room, while Janab Sirajuddin Zaini, Khatib of Sunni Jamia Masjid Shirva, will inaugurate the computer facility.

The event will be graced by several dignitaries including, chief advisor-Rosary Credit Co-operative Society and parish priest Holy Rosary Church Kundapur Fr Paul Rego, founder Daijiworld Media Private Limited Walter Nandalike, and deputy registrar Cooperative Society Udupi District Lavanya K R.
Bishop of Udupi diocese Dr Gerald Issac Lobo, congratulated the society on completing 33 successful years and stepping into its 34th year and said, “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Rosary Credit Cooperative Society as it completes 33 years and enters its 34th year. With 12 branches across Udupi district, six of which are in their own premises, the Shirva branch now proudly moves into its own premises. The society has earned the trust and recognition of the people throughout the district. While progressing with a forward-thinking approach, it has also stood by the people in their times of need. I hope the Shirva branch continues to meet the expectations and serve the needs of the local community.”
Johnson D’Almeida, president Rosary Credit Co-operative Society Kundapura, said, “Rosary Credit Cooperative Society has a proud 33-year legacy, founded in 1992 under the visionary leadership of our late founder president, Alphonse Lobo. Today, we operate 12 branches across Udupi district, with six functioning from our own buildings. Our goal is to ensure that all branches eventually operate from owned premises. With the support of our dedicated staff and efficient management, we have achieved a milestone business turnover of Rs 1 cr. The Shirva branch, which has been operating from rented premises for the past five years, is now being relocated to its own premises, marking a significant step forward in our growth.”
