Mangaluru, Dec 6: Moral policing has raised its ugly head once again in Mangaluru.
A right wing organization workers who came to know that a girl was found in the company of a boy belonging to another faith have severely assaulted the boy after barging into a jewellery shop near Kankanady. It is said that the boy and girl are colleagues in the same jewellery shop.
Prior to the assault, the family members of the girl are said to have arrived at the scene and confronted the boy.
Meanwhile three cases have been registered with Kadri police station including the boy's complaint of assault and rioting, the mother of the girl
accusing the the boy of abusing the girl and threatening her of dire consequences and the jewllery shop filing a case of tresspass and rioting.
