Udupi, Jan 13: BJP national general secretary, C T Ravi, termed the malicious campaign being undertaken by certain parties about vaccines meant to protect the health of our citizens, as part of a large scale conspiracy.

"The Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had clearly spelt out the priorities. He had clarified that health workers will get the vaccine doses first after which people aged over 50 will get the Covid vaccine. All necessary precautions have been taken. Even the people in general have full confidence in the vaccine manufactured in India. But some political parties follow the policy of not doing anything on their own, and not allowing others also to do anything. They should change their mindset lest they will be erased from the political scenario of the country," he warned.

"When they say that they do not trust the vaccine made in India, it automatically means that they do not have confidence in our scientists. Perhaps, if the vaccine had come from Italy, they would have given clearance certificate to it as the best vaccine ever, even before it arrived here," he ridiculed, without naming the Congress.
