Mangaluru: Air India mulling air operations from city to Mysuru

Mangaluru, Oct 15: Air India is thinking of beginning flight operations from the city to Mysuru, it is learnt. It is likely to run trial services after October 25.

Air India will take a decision on continuing the operations based on the availability of passengers during the trial run. MP Pratap Simha and some industrialists had requested the flight operator to run air services between these two cities that are now connected by road and train.

As per the current information, Air India may divert the flight coming here from Bengaluru at 6.50 am to Mysuru. The flight to Mysuru will depart at 7.55 am and reach Mysuru at 8.50 am. It will begin its return journey at 9.20 am and reach the city at 10.15 am after which it will leave for Bengaluru. However, the operations will begin after October 25.
