Kundapur: MITK hosts ‘Vibration Week–2026’ with Sandalwood theme

Kundapur, Jul 18: The MBA Department of Moodlakatte Institute of Technology, Kundapur, organised ‘Vibration Week–2026’ from July 14 to 17 with the special theme ‘Sandalwood’. The four-day event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and provided a platform for them to showcase their creativity and talents.

On the first day, students participated in the ‘Kavirathna Kalidasa Brain Battle’ quiz competition and the ‘Sweet and Sour Taste’ no-fire cooking competition.

The second day featured the ‘Yuvarathna Leadership Hunt’ (Best Manager), ‘Press Meet Prasanga’ (mock press meet) and ‘Vichitra Vesham’ (mismatched fashion show) competitions, which showcased the students’ leadership, communication and creative skills.

On the third day, the ‘Yajamana Presentation League’ PowerPoint presentation competition and the ‘Kalpana Reels’ reels-making competition were conducted successfully.

The concluding day featured the team event ‘Ashtaranga Cine Utsava’, which included group singing, group dance, Kirik mimicry and a retro fashion show. Students participated enthusiastically in all the competitions and displayed their diverse talents.

The winners of the various competitions were felicitated with cash prizes, trophies and certificates.

The ‘Vibration Week–2026’ programme was organised with the objective of fostering leadership, creativity, communication skills and team spirit among students. The event was successfully conducted with the support and cooperation of college principal Dr Ramakrishna Hegde, head of the department Dr Suchitra Poojary, faculty members and students.
