Mangaluru: Bhoomi puja held for 'Raam Residency' by Asha Infra Developers at Hoigebail

Mangaluru, Jan 26: The ground-breaking ceremony for 'Raam Residency', a residential project by Asha Infra Developers at Hoigebail, Urva, was held here on Sunday, January 26.

Ramesh Tantri, priest of Panchamahalingeshwar Temple conducted the bhoomi puja for the project.

Local corporator Ganesh, corporator Bhanumathi, land owners B Nagesh and B Shekar, Ganesh Shetty,  Ranjan, Anand Bhat, Dileep Kumar, Ravi Muscat, Sanjay Koppa and Lancy D Souza of The North Face Constructions released the brochure of the project.

Offering the bhoomi puja, Ramesh Tantri said, "The custom of bhoomi puja is part of our religious and social life. By offering this puja, we ask permission from mother nature to proceed with the construction. Without the blessings of Goddess Bhoomi (Earth) we cannot do any construction work which is directly connected to nature. At the same time, by doing bhoomi puja we seek blessings for people who are undertaking the construction. I wish all success to the Raam Residency project and a pleasant and peaceful stay to the buyers of apartments in this building."

Baba Alankar of Asha Infra Developers said, "Famous tourist destinations like Sultan Battery, Kudroli temple, Mangala stadium, and Tannirbavi beach are in close proximity to the project. The project has also received RERA registration number and the construction will start immediately after the formal bhoomi puja and other launch events."
