Mangaluru: ‘Greet and Win All Hearts’ held at Lourdes Central School, Bejai

Mangaluru, Jun 29: The primary section of Classes 1 to V of Lourdes Central School, Bejai, had organized a project on “Greet and Win all Hearts”.

The goal of this project was to create social interaction in order to create positive experiences in terms of creating good memories.

The project was inaugurated on Monday, June 10 by principal Fr Robert D’Souza during the assembly.

The finale of the same was held on Friday, 28th June 2019 for Classes I to V. The children assembled on the roof- top auditorium.



The programme began by invoking God’s blessing through a prayer song followed by the welcome speech.

The children placed their right hand on their heart and greeted in a warm way to vice principal Belita Mascarenhas and to all the teachers.

Simra Jameela of Class IV C read the report of the project.

Classes IV and V performed a short play based on a true story and showed the importance of greeting others and winning all hearts.

Class V performed a dance representing the different ways of greeting from different culture which was truly enlightening.

Class III performed a thrilling fashion show representing the different gestures of greeting at different occasion.

The vice principal in her address appreciated the performance of all the participants and said it was truly a learning experience.

The choir sang a meaningful greeting song which was overwhelming.

Class IV thanked each one of the LCS family which stressed the values of happiness, love, care and respect for others in daily lives.

Finally, Amogh Pinto of class III A concluded the project and wished to continue the spirit of greeting and winning all hearts throughout their lives.
