Toronto, May 7: The Mangalorean Association of Canada (MAC) Silver Jubilee – a celebration marking 25 remarkable years – unfolded on May 2, at the Canadian Convention Centre as an unforgettable evening of culture, community, and celebration. From the moment the doors opened, there was a palpable sense of pride and anticipation, as members and guests gathered to honor a legacy built over decades.

The programme began with a warm and inspiring welcome from president Janet D’Souza, whose dynamic address set the tone for the celebration. Her words reflected both gratitude for the journey so far and a compelling vision for the future, energizing the audience and uniting everyone in a shared purpose. The evening also included a moment of reverence, offering thanks to Our Lady of the Rosary, MAC’s patroness, and acknowledging Fr Roshan Loy D’Souza, the Chaplain, along with the clergy present for their blessings and guidance.
