MIT Kundapur to host ‘Savishkar’ two-day state level fest from May 1

Kundapur, Apr 29: ‘Savishkar’, a two-day state-level cultural, technical, and management fest organized by Moodlakatte Institute of Technology (MIT) in Moodlakatte, Kundapur, will be held on May 1-2.

Over 20 competitions will be featured, attracting students from around 30 colleges to showcase their skills. Winners of all competitions will receive certificates along with cash prizes. Various entertainment programs are scheduled as main attractions on both days to enhance the fest's vibrancy.

 

On the first evening, renowned rapper Chandan Shetty, known for pioneering rap-style songs in the Kannada music industry and winner of Bigg Boss, will perform in a concert. Additionally, singers Sasikala Sunil and Dhanush, who gained fame through reality shows, will also perform.

The second day's highlight will be a grand performance by Sandalwood's famous folk singer, Naveen Sajju, accompanied by his band. Chandan Shetty and Naveen Sajju's shows will debut in Udupi District and are expected to draw significant attention.

Moreover, experienced and trained stunt masters will perform thrilling bike stunts, a favourite among students and youth. The program of Kaushik Suvarna, who has established himself in the field of dance, will also be featured. Another special feature of this event is the introduction of advanced Lighting and Sound Systems from Bengaluru.

The college management has warmly invited all art lovers to this extravagant event.

Prof Melwin D’Souza, vice principal MIT Kundapur; Dr Ramakrishna Hegde, director brand building; and Prof Varun Kumar, programme coordinator were present.
