Mangaluru, Apr 25: Four students from Expert PU College achieved the remarkable feat of scoring 100 percentile in their respective subjects during the JEE Mains examination, marking an unprecedented level of success. This exceptional achievement included three students excelling in Physics and one in Chemistry.
Prathik P Gowda distinguished himself by scoring 100 percentile in Chemistry, attaining an impressive overall percentile of 99.5733606 while Sujan Shivanand Mullati also achieved 100 percentile in Physics, with a total percentile score of 99.4584867. Additionally, Sajjan D and Anurag Jeevappa Thangadi also scored 100 in Physics.
In total, 30 students scored above the 99 percentile, a testament to the high academic standards and rigorous preparation fostered at Expert PU College. The college also saw impressive broader results, with 57 students scoring more than the 98 percentile, 110 students above the 97 percentile, 156 achieving the 96 percentile, 192 reaching 95 percentile, and 363 surpassing the 90 percentile.
From the cohort of 1,130 students who appeared for the exam, 469 students, representing 41.5% of the total, qualified to write the JEE Advanced exam. Notable among them was Mihir Girish Kamath, who secured a 99.9280172 percentile and was ranked 1312 in the general category.
Similarly, Sanketh Kumar achieved a rank of 3,541 with a 99.7864881 percentile, and Rohan Hebbale earned a 99.7100341 percentile with an All India Rank (AIR) of 4760.
Furthermore, in the general category, students from Expert PU College captured 10 of the top 10,000 ranks and 7 of the top 1,000 ranks in the national category, demonstrating the college’s excellence in fostering top-tier talent.
This remarkable performance in the second session of the JEE Mains underscores the commitment of Expert PU College to providing exceptional educational opportunities, equipping students to excel in highly competitive examinations and to pursue prestigious engineering careers.
