Woman kidnapped, gang-raped in Bengaluru, five arrested

Bengaluru, Apr 25 (IANS): In a shocking case, a 23-year-old woman was kidnapped and gang-raped in Bengaluru, said police on Thursday, adding that five accused have been arrested.

The incident happened in the limits of High Grounds police station.

According to police, the victim was kidnapped by five men and then gang-raped in an isolated place. The victim was also brutally tortured by the accused.

Following the complaint by the family of the victim, the High Grounds police arrested the rapists.

The incident came to light a day ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in Bengaluru.

    Rapists must be severely punished with fast track court and the victim must get Justice within 6 months or a year. Crimes are increasing in silicon city and through fast track courts may reduce such brutal incidents.

    Feel some party wants to create communal tension before the second phase polls in the state. hope readers understand which political party is that. Only God and the strict police under the able leadership of Congress will avert these things. The poisonous elements have reached this beautiful south Indian state which has so many resources but big black spot of communally sensitive. All other south indians states have so far successfully resisted the infiltration of right wing terrorists.

    According to your theory the victim must be either a sacrificial goat or the rapists must have enacted a filmy scene. So there was no crime at all. Arrests are fake, police are wasting time.

    there was some news about intelligence report that big communal riots will happens just before the LS elections, but thank god to our police and administration nothing happend. there will be criminal everywhere, In gujrath pregnant lady was gangraped in front of her relatives, opened her belly and tossed the unborned fetus and killed all her relatives, after the court verdicts all the culprits were jailed that also after hue and cry but they have been released again with garlands and celebrations. they can go to any extend hence we should carefully vote this time. its time to give rest to elderly man who wa working 18hours a day from last 10 years and 20 hours a day 15 years before that. in total in last 25 years he is tiredly working and i think its time for rest now.
