Mangaluru: 460 litres of illegal liquor, 1.7 kg of drugs seized – district election officer

Mangaluru, March 21: As much as 460 litres of illegal liquor worth Rs 6,19,369 has been seized ever since the date of announcement of the poll schedule for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections as the code of conduct was enforced.

Similarly, 1.7 kilos of drugs worth Rs 5,43,500 was confiscated.

Nine FIRs including four of excise rules violations and others are registered, stated the district election officer in a press release.
