Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Feb 21: Shikha Sushil, who was recently crowned Hyssna Miss Daijiworld 2026, expressed immense joy and gratitude during an exclusive interview ahead of the televised broadcast of the grand finale.

Speaking about her victory, Shikha said she is still overwhelmed by the moment.

“I can’t believe that I am the winner. I feel like I am in my own world. Seeing my smile on the posters is truly surreal. I feel extremely blessed and grateful for this opportunity,” she shared.

Reflecting on the competition, she acknowledged that all the contestants were strong and quick in their own unique ways.

However, she believes her confidence, stage presence, walk, and communication skills made her stand out. “I stayed true to myself. My confidence and the way I carried myself on stage really helped me,” she said.

Recalling her journey, Shikha described the audition and grooming sessions as magical moments. The three-day grooming programme played a significant role in shaping her performance and boosting her confidence.

Interestingly, Shikha revealed that modelling was not initially her personal ambition. “It was actually my parents who encouraged me to participate. Today, I am thankful to them for pushing me forward,” she said.

An engineering student by profession, Shikha beautifully summed up her dual passion: “Engineering is my profession and modelling is my passion. Both are like my babies, and I want them to go hand in hand.”

Her inspiring journey, confidence, and grace have made her a deserving winner of the prestigious title.
