Mangaluru: Unidentified decomposed body found in Netravati river

Mangaluru, Jan 30: The mortal remains of a man were found near Tantri Road of Netravati river at Kallapu.

It is suspected that the person must have fallen into the river three days ago. A wrist watch and bangle were found on the body.

The body which is highly decomposed is wearing a lungi and t-shirt.

It is suspected that the person must have fallen into the river at Bajal or Bantwal. Social worker Prem Prakash D’Souza, brought the mortal remains that were floating in the centre of river, to the shore on humanitarian grounds.

Ullal police are probing further.
