    Great service to mankind and
real worship of God! If every rich family,
    while blowing money for their
    marriage simply to exhibit ego,
if they could cut down some unnecessary
show items and spare the money
to help somebody to have their
    marriage conducted how many
people can be helped all across
    India?

    The government can't solve the
problem, but only the good and
    kind-hearted people can solve the
    problem, one at a time.

Let this be a model for others
to follow. All the best wishes
    and God's blessings.

Commendable job from the organizers. This is one of the noble ways of helping havenots by the haves and ultimately a great service to the society.

However, a small suggestion could be out of the Rs. 2.5 lakh, some amount could be kept in a joint account of the couple in a fixed deposit to meet out any future unforeseen expenses.

Anyways, God bless both the organizers and the would be couple.

Sponsors/organisers of the proposed charity event deserves complements for the maiden gesture in the area and worth emulating. In Dharmashala Sri Veerendra Heggade has been doing the mass marriage for more than two decades and hundreds of couples tied knots in a simple way.Compared to this the prosed event envisages quite huge expenditure per couple.Had this event planned well in advance, likely chances of higher number of benificiaries would have much more.In that case also the event could have managed with same sum.
