This is as good or bad as its data input. When the case count itself is is question and other countries reporting fresh cases this is another jumla anx tactic to divert attention, build false comfort and do away with all the restrictoons.

Instead of such fairy tales, please increase the testing labs........ Its easy to test every citizen compared to checking CAA documents. Now Corona result is available within few hours in many counties. Test, isolate the positive and every state will be free of Corona in two months. Question is-whether our govts and politicians are capable? While most of them are low educated and proportionate knowledge.

If there was no lockdown from March to June ,the whole country would have been corona free by now because herd immunity would have developed also there would have been far less deaths because comorbidities would have been treated and lastly there would have been no financial mess as people would have money in their pockets. Isolation is OK,. lockdown is a strick NO-NO ,. in respiratory viral infections.

Do you realize how ludicrous you sound when um you day millions upon millions would have died sans lockdown? What should have been done instead was a full flight ban in Feb so that every precious NRI and expat didn't get a chance to give this gift to her motherland

How they have not explained. If we take the example of other countries like China, S. Korea, Iran, Europe where the outbreak happened early, new cases are still found! The virus will not end in November, the cases may come down. It is only three months the surge of cases in India and therefore it is unrealistic to expect the doom. No virus disease meets its doom fast. Measles, chicken pox, mumps, influenza still affect people despite vaccination .

As per the official figures, the virus seems to have peaked in Delhi, and Mumbai, and in several other parts, and the results will be pronounced early, if people do not let their guard down and appropriate safety precautions continue. However, it is not clear if the testing methods have manufactured an artificial peak, if some places are substantially using the antigen test over the RT-PCR test, as the antigen test is relatively cheaper but has lower sensitivity to the virus.
