Mangaluru, Aug 25: The body of a man, who jumped from Netravati Bridge, Ullal, was found at NMPT Port on Sunday, August 25.
Sadashiva (29), resident of Kadaba, had committed suicide on August 16..
Body of Sadashiva was found by Coast Guard personnel. They informed the Panambur police about it and the body was taken to Wenlock Hospital for further procedures.
Family members of Sadashiva recognised the body through his raincoat and tattoo.
Sadashiva was working at railway station in city. On August 16, after finishing the work, he was on his way to his rented house at Jeppinamogaru. Without going to his house, Sadashiva parked his two- wheeler at Netravati Bridge and jumped off from there into river.
Though search was launched, the body could be found only on August 25.
Many people jumped off this bridge, also known as Ullal Bridge, in the recent past that includes Coffee Day founder V G Siddhartha Hegde.
