Hope many will also complain about irregular vehicle movement in front of the Airport arrival departure gates and haphazard road dividers! Airport director and Co can not fix it for years nor the politicians frequently travel through this airport.

Everyone including the rto and the police and the district administration know that the bus drivers are the most notorious, arrogant and literally rowdy elements. Perhaps it is the silence of the authorities that has given them so much teeth.

They stop wherever they want. If we notice the bus lane in hampankatta and also in jyothi towards balmatta, they stop in the middle of the road. Today a bus hit me from the back. The traffic law is to maintain a distance. This guy hits me and then peeps out of his seat and starts abusing me and lecturing me like a movie hero. Stupid Buffon. If at all I stood there and argued which anyway would go to deaf ears, they would eagerly get together and strike and file false complaint against me.
I am sure even after writing this much nothing will change.

The Private bus mafia filled with goons and rowdies should be abolished in the twin districts of DK and Udupi. The State Government should look into it, the bus operators should know that they are not doing a favour to the two districts.

Many of these private bus drivers and conductors think there are no rules and regulations for them.

Some of them are very arrogant and act like goons and abuse passengers.

They stop buses wherever they want and obstruct traffic and if anyone objects they abuse with filthy language and may go physical with them.

Police are not of much help. Sometimes we have seen traffic police whistlling the bus driver to leave the place, but bus driver do not care. Then the traffic police in order to save his face will see some other side and will not look at the bus.

In one way this programme is good. Police people will come to know the actual problems citizens are facing. But on the other hand Traffic police must attend the problems as early as possible. Mere listening and claiming that they have completed 68 programme is no use.

All private bus owners are affiliated one or the other political party so action against them is just a eye wash

It's useless commenting about private buses.
Have not seen any difference since last 10 years.
Police are doing their duty for sure.
But, they are very good in taking action after the incidents.
But, are not capable of preventing mishaps.
We, the INDIANS generally don't care about SAFETY at all.

Pls advise associations to issue guidelines on displaying drivers and conductors name on duty in respective busses. So passengers have names and bus numbers that can assist police and bus associations in cracking complaints.
