Srinivas University organises ‘Campus Kick-Off 2026’ football tournament for BCom students

Mangaluru, Sep 3: The department of B Com, Institute of Management and Commerce (IMC), Srinivas University, successfully organized 'Campus Kick-Off 2026', a football tournament for B Com boys, on Monday, August 31st at The Futsal Dugout (Near BCA Campus) under the Sports Forum Cell. The event aimed to encourage sportsmanship, physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, leadership, and a healthy competitive spirit among students. The tournament provided students with an excellent opportunity to showcase their football skills and develop confidence through sports.

The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from B Com boy students, who displayed great energy, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the matches. The players competed with determination and commitment, making the event exciting and enjoyable for both participants and spectators. The matches reflected the true spirit of teamwork, fair play, and healthy competition while encouraging students to actively participate in sports and extracurricular activities.

The event was conducted with the valuable support and guidance of Dr Venkatesh S Amin (dean, IMC), Prof Sharmila S Shetty (HoD, B Com), and Prof Deepthi (sports forum coordinator). Their encouragement and support contributed significantly to the successful conduct of the tournament. The event carried the inspiring theme “Let the game begin!” and the message “Play hard. play smart. make us proud!”, motivating students to develop confidence, discipline, teamwork, and a positive competitive spirit through sports.
