Bengaluru, June 29: Karnataka on Wednesday, June 29 registered 1249 new coronavirus cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stands at 5,707. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally at 1109.
Two deaths was reported due to coronavirus in the state on Wednesday. The death toll in the state has risen to 40,075.
The state recorded 1154 discharges from hospitals on Wednesday, taking the total discharges to 39,22,541.
So far, Karnataka has seen 39,68,365 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 4.84% while the case fatality rate for the day is 0.16%.
As many as 11,19,57,271 people have received vaccination so far.
