Foreign nationals overstaying their legal permitted stay is the jurisdiction of the Immigration Dept and not of the ordinary police force who give escort to every visiting MLA or MP or the PM. If foreign nationals are staying illegally in India, then the Immigration Dept is not doing their job. It’s as simple as that. It’s not Rocket Science that the politicians are trying to portray.
