May 11: DK reports three Covid 19 cases, while Udupi adds zero infections

Mangaluru/Udupi, May 11: Dakshina Kannada on Wednesday, May 11, reported three coronavirus cases while Udupi registered zero infections.

The total number of positive cases in Dakshina Kannada district has risen to 1,35,532 out of which 13 are currently active.

Three patients were discharged from hospitals on Wednesday. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,850.

The district administration has urged people to strictly continue maintaining social distance in public places and wear masks when stepping out of the house. Anyone not wearing a mask would be fined by the authority.

So far, the district administration has collected Rs 1,16,05,880 as fine in 96,212 incidents of mask violation.

 

Udupi

Zero cases was reported on Wednesday. The total active Covid case have risen to one.

No patient was discharged from hospitals on Wednesday.

Udupi taluk reported 0 case, Kundapura 0 and 0 case in Karkala.

A total of 10,84,235 people have received first dose of vaccination and 1047295

have received both doses and 68,111 people have received booster dose.
