Karnataka records 282 new corona cases, 13 deaths reported in a single day

Bengaluru, Oct 27: Karnataka on Wednesday, October 27 registered 282 new coronavirus cases.

As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 8,430. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally stood at 142.

As many as 13 deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Wednesday, the death toll in the state has risen to 38,037.

The state recorded 349 discharges from hospitals on Wednesday, taking the total discharges to 29,40,339.

So far, Karnataka has seen 29,86,835 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 0.24% while the case fatality rate for the day is 4.6%.

As many as 6,43,68,147 people have received vaccination so far.
