Seeking ......NOT yet finalised. For the time being, Karnataka can draw their supply from Kerala and build many more dams for their own potable water consumption. The present dam at Tumbhe and elsewhere isn't sufficient to meet the spiralling water demand considering the fact that the state is no more a green zone and slowly turning into a metropolis hub...tagged under the so-called "Smart City". Even if Karnataka (by chance) happens to get a nod (green signal) it shouldn't bank on Maharashtra anyway. As it is Maharashtra itself isn't self sufficient with water and over-all a whopping 70% quota is being utilised for production and industrial activities through MIDC (Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation).
