Daijiworld Media Network – Dubai (SP)

Dubai, Apr 29: Dubai's ace radio station, 105.4 FM’s 'Aap Ke Saath Saath' is known for innovative programmes, and it is the only FM station to bring the South Indian and Srilankan music for its listeners on Fridays.

From April 30, 2010 onwards, Radio Spice 105.4 FM will add more 'spice' to its existing programmes and also introduce Marathi programmes.

If you tune in at 7.00 am, Radio Spice will take you to the world of entertainment at no cost!

Its re-designed programmes in different languages are as follows:

1st Stop:

Rise and Shine with coastal Sinhalese music from 7 am to 8 am.

2nd Stop:

Catch the beat of the heat with tantalizing Telegu music from 8 am to 9 am.

3rd Stop:

Meet a newly married couple … poles apart ….from different backgrounds… staying in Dubai. Living true to their names…. Saadu Sadaanandu and Bajaari Bindu…..

A mix of emotions…humour… tug-of-war and great Kannada music from 9 to 10.30 am.

4th Stop:

It’s time to get the feel of the metaphor ‘ Kabab Mein Haddi’.

A married couple… trying to get the ends meet ….living in a congested apartment in UAE …with a great level of understanding…and someone really special makes an entry into the scene… the world calls her mother-in-law, but she is truly a ‘ monster-in-law’.

Want to know what happens in the house of your neighbourers? Get a chance to hear them live with ‘Maami Magul Murmaye’.

Enjoy their journey of torture and humour with Tulu music from 10.30 to 11.30 am.

5th Stop:

It is now time to go back to a small village in Mangalore and relive those moments of true friendship, fun involved in gossips and go high with a feel of ‘Know it all’.

Meet two friends, Rikshaw Riccha and Hotel Peccha, who run the professions as denoted by their names, and listen to them carefully as they just seem to know everything under the sun.

Increase the volume to get the best of gossip with a blend of Konkani music from 11.30 am to 1 pm.

Introducing this Friday, a new destination - Maharashtra, with ‘Me Masthi’, one hour Marathi special with Babban and Bhaabi, a couple totally in love with extreme opinions on their daughter’s life and decisions… get the feel of ‘Amchi Mumbai’ from 1 pm to 2 pm with best of Marathi songs.

Earlier, Friday was a day to buy fish in the morning and cook to a flavor so that we enjoy the meal till we burp. Today, Mr Herman Lewis along with 105.4 FM has added certain emotional spices so that we carry great weight and touch of our mother land. I wish and pray to the entire management to provide all the strength and keep going and spread the same spice to every corner of the world.

We should appreciate Herman Sirs effort in keeping our language high up in the air. Nowadays the percentage of people speaking their native language has diminished drastically. With this effort we want to bring more charm to our language and make our younger generation get attracted towards their mother tongue. They are the ones who need to take it further and we are here to support them. Let us together save our beautiful language. Once gain we salute Herman Sir and his Team at Radio Spice 105.4 FM in making this happen.
