Al Ain: Green Valley of Perampalli Celebrates Monti Fest

Al Ain (UAE), Sep 22: Green Valley of Perampalli in United Arab Emirates (UAE) celebrated their Monti feast with all the members and their families at the residence of Francis Julie D’Souza on Monday September 21 here. 

The gathered for celebration sung hymns of nativity feast and also partook cultural food with paddy (Novem). 



Konkani artiste Francis Fernandes Cascia attended the function. On the occasion, the general body meeting of the association was also held and new office-bearers were elected.

 
Allwyn Mascarenhas was elected president, while Merlyn D’Souza was elected vice-president. Julie D’Souza, Francis D’Souza (Abu Dhabi) and Milton D’Souza were elected as secretary, treasurer and cultural secretary, respectively.

    Hi green valley members wish you all very happy Monti Feast. May Virgin Mary shower her blessings on all of you. Friends nice to see you all together celebrating the monti feast far from our native place, it is called back our childhood memory.
