Naval Station Health Organization Holds Senior Citizens Health Camp

A senior citizens health camp was organized recently by Station Health Organization (Navy), under the aegis of Naval Wives Welfare Association (NWWA),  Western Region (WR), at Sailors Family Clinic - I, Old Navy Nagar, Colaba, here.
 
NWWA (WR) president Kanwal Bedi was the chief guest of the occasion. 
 


Various out-patient departments were set up for screening the patients, including medical, surgical, eye, ENT, gynaecology, dental and counseling. 
 
HelpAge India representative N Bhatnagar, surgeon and naval commander Sandeep Bhandary, made presentations on medical and social aspects of ageing.  A health exhibition on ageing was also held on the occasion. 
 
About 150 senior citizens utilized the services offered at the camp and their health care will be followed up at INHS Ashwini, a tertiary care hospital.
