Malaika Group Holds Annual Customers’ Meet

Mumbai, Mar 17: The annual customers’ meet of Malaika Appliances Private Limited and Malaika Credit Co-operative Society was held recently at Hotel Sagar, Marve Road, Malad (West).

Malad Kannada Sangh president Harish N Shetty was the chief guest of the occasion.  Speaking on the occasion he said that Malaika Group had carved a niche in the market with its branches across the metro, despite stiff competition and that speaks volume about their commitment to service and trust.



Recipient of ‘Divo Sahitya Puraskar’ Cyprian Albuquerque (Cypry Sampige), stage artiste Felix D’Souza Malvani, local hotelier Hilary Lobo, and ‘Divo’ Konkani weekly sub-editor Stany Lobo were the guests of honour. 

Social worker Shankar Shetty, ‘Secular Citizen’ weekly chief Suzanne Coelho, ‘Divo’ editor Lawrence Coelho, entrepreneur George D’Souza, Malad organizer Clement Madantyar, poet Shanti Roy, and writer Walter Lasrado were the specially invited guests on the occasion.

Malaika Group director Marceline J Baptist talked about the growth of their enterprise and special benefits extended to customers of Malaika Credit Co-operative Society. 

Malaika Group chairman and managing director Gilbert Baptist delivered the introductory address.

A musical concert was presented by Konkan Melody troupe of Wilfred Fernandes and Renita Fernandes as part of the entertainment programme.  

Naveen Kulshekar compered the programme while manager Joseph Lobo proposed the vote of thanks.
