Annual Day Celebrations of Vasai Karnataka Sangh

The annual day celebrations of suburban Vasai Karnataka Sangh were held recently at Sai Nagar grounds, Vasai (West) here.
 
Karnataka Rajyotsav awardee Vijay Kumar Shetty was the chief guest of the occasion. He inaugurated the programme. 
 


Vijay Kumar Shetty, speaking later, said that peoples' personality gets a major boost, when they grow with the organizations that inspire them to foster native traditions and culture.  "Although we were born in Karnataka and migrated to the metro in search of greener pastures, our native organizations here bring us together and help to enhance brotherhood among us," he said.
 
Balaji Seva Samiti secretary Someshwar Devendra Bhakta was the guest of honour present at the occasion.
 
Karnataka Sangh president Vishwanat P Shetty, honorary president Kateel Shekhar Kotian, honorary chief secretary O P Poojary, treasurer Bhaskar Shetty, committee president Karnire Sridar Shetty, womens wing chair person Rajeshwari Narayan, youth wing president Jaya Ashok Shetty, vice president Pandu Shetty and others were present at the dais.
