Plethora of Poetry at Kavi Sammelan in Fatima Church

Mumbai, May 6: Maharashtra Konkani Association organized a Kavi Sammelan (poets' meet) at Fatima church hall here on Monday May 6.

Parish priest of Sacred Heart church Fr Cyprian Lewis, who is also a poet, presided over the function. J B Sequiera, Victor Consessao, Prasanna Niddodi, Ron Michael, Irene Rodrigues, Rita Albuquerque and Leo Fernandes participated in the meet.

Louis Fernandes entertained the crowd with songs and Fr Alexander Lewis, parish priest of Kadaba enthralled them with his Gumtam songs.

President Benedicta Rebello welcomed the gathering while founder president Leo Fernandes compered the programme and John Veigas proposed the vote of thanks.
