‘Upanayana’ Rites for 21 Boys Performed

Mumbai, May 1: ‘Upanayana’ rites of tying the sacred thread to boys was held at Sri Rama Mandir, Vadala, on Wednesday April 30, organized by cultural and religious sub-committee of Gayatri Upasak Sangh. 



Sudhama Ananth Bhat performed the religious rites for around 21 boys during the 35th annual ‘Upanayana’ rites led by G S Bhat, president of Gayatri Sangh.

Ullas Kamath, trustee of Sri Rama Mandir, Kamalaksha Saraf, Viju Nayak, Umesh Pai and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
