Watch out for two ladies in 'The Bachelorette'

Los Angeles, March 10 (IANS): For the first time, there will simultaneously be two bachelorettes in an episode of dating game show "The Bachelorette".

TV host Chris Harrison announced during the special episode "After the Final Rose" of the season 19 finale of “The Bachelor”, that both Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson, will star in the premiere episode of “The Bachelorette”, reports aceshowbiz.com.

“For the first time in 'Bachelorette' history, we're gonna have two Bachelorettes. That's right, it is going to be Britt and Kaitlyn. So the 25 men, on night one, they are going to have the ultimate say on who they think would make the best wife,” Harrison said.

There was a divide between who wanted Bristowe and Nilsson as the new bachelorette and the producers “decided not to decide", Harrison explained.

Bristowe, 29, is a dance instructor from Alberta, Canada, while Nilsson, 27, is a waitress from California. Both girls were featured in the 19th season of "The Bachelor" starring Chris Soules, who proposed to Whitney Bischoff at the end of the show.

Bristowe gushed over the twist: “I'd say we would make a pretty good first impression with the tears and the laughs.” Nilsson commented: “I mean, I'm super grateful, I think it's an amazing opportunity, its' more than I can comprehend, I'm still having trouble processing it, but I love Kaitlyn, so we'll see how it goes.”

The new season of "The Bachelorette" will premiere on May 18.
