Rekha snubs Puneet; his wife reveals Rekha and Big B's relationship

Mumbai, Feb 24: Rekha, snubbed BB contestant Puneet Issar when she was in the Bigg Boss 8 house to promote her come back film Super Nani, and now his wife has retaliated by revealing that Rekha wears 'sindoor' for Amitabh Bachchan.

Puneet Issar's wife Deepali Issar is apparently miffed with Rekha for her disrespectful put down of her husband and therefore has come out guns blazing with the news that Rekha wears 'sindoor' which is the traditional vermillion mark of a married woman for Amitabh Bachchan. Rekha it is believed, behaved badly towards Puneet because she continues to hold him responsible for Amitabh being hurt on the sets of Coolie, the film in which the two actors shared screen space.

Rekha and Amitabh were a much rumoured pair of actors who people claimed to be very much in love with each other. Amitabh, though was married to Jaya Bhaduri and Rekha later Mukhesh Agarwal. While her husband is no more Rekha has often been seen wearing a sindoor on her forehead and many have said that the embers of her love for Big B continue to burn bright.

Even today speculations are rife as to the relationship shared by the duo and every public appearance made, together, by the two is closely scrutinised as is the rapport between Rekha and Jaya Bachchan.

The punch thrown by Puneet Issar to Amitabh during a fight scene proved fatal, and Amitabh almost lost his life. Amitabh ended up undergoing three stomach operations at the time.
