Davanagere, Sep 3: Fifth day's Novena at Our Lady of Health, Minor Basilica, Harihara, Davanagere District, Diocese of Shimoga, began at 5:30 PM with Rosary, Procession and floral homages to Harihara Matha. Then Basilica's rector Fr George K A led the Novena.
At 6:30 PM, Fr Danappa from the Diocese of Bellary, celebrated Holy Eucharist and preached on the theme, "The mother who brings together the sinners cast to the fringes of society". He based his preaching on Ezekiel 18:1-13, 21-24 and John 4:5-15.
After the Mass Fr Danappa, led the benediction and priests prayed over the pilgrims. Rector Fr George K A thanked Fr Danappa for making available for the day's novena Mass.
