SRK hopes to impress kids with 'Fan'


Mumbai, Feb 21 (IANS): Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is working hard to surpass the expectations of someone with his upcoming movie “Fan” and its not of the director or writer- but of his little fans.

“Hav the sweetest & hard workingest kids on 'Fan'.Hope i live up2 their innocent expectations & mak them lov films more than they already do (sic),” King Khan tweeted Friday.

After entertaining with “Happy New Year”, SRK has turned all his focus on Maneesh Sharma's directorial “Fan”.

The superstar, often called the “King of Romance”, will be seen playing the role of a fan.

Alia, Randeep miss 'Highway' journey as it turns 1

Road movie "Highway" completed its voyage of one year Saturday, taking its lead actors Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda down memory lane.

“One year ago ! ;) #Highway missing,” Alia tweeted.

Whereas Randeep shared a sketch of himself from the movie with a caption : “@mitenlapsiya: #1YearOfHighway @RandeepHooda”

Imtiaz Ali's directorial traces the journey of a girl from an affluent family of Delhi after she is kidnapped and how she falls for her abductor as she finds solace in his company.

'Mirziya' shoot takes Rakeysh Mehra to Mandawa

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is mesmerised by ancient lore and the old world charm of Mandawa as the filmmaker has started shooting for “Mirziya” in the rural locales of this small village of Rajasthan.

“#MIRZYA on location in Mandavaa Rajasthan for the next shooting schedule of MIRZYA,” he tweeted.

He also shared a photograph of himself riding a horse.

The film, which stars newcomers Harshvardhan Kapoor, son of veteran actor Anil Kapoor, and Saiyami Kher, niece of Tanvi Azmi, is inspired by folklore.

It will be a tragic love story, but will present a modern take on folklore.
