Tendulkar releases autobiography 'Playing It My Way'


Mumbai, Nov 5 (IANS): Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar released his autobiography "Playing It My Way" at a glittering ceremony here Wednesday.

The batting maestro, who retired from all forms of cricket last year, presented the first copy of the book before the release earlier in the day to his mother Rajni.

"Gave the first copy of my book to my mother. Look of pride on her face was a priceless moment! #PlayingItMyWayLaunch," Sachin tweeted, attaching a photograph of him presenting the book to his mother.

He presented the second copy to his first coach Ramakant Achrekar on-stage just after the release.

Former greats like Sourav Ganguly, V.V.S. Laxman, Rahul Dravid among others were attending the release of the book, which has already created some stir.

    while playing he got plenty. now afetr retired time, sitting at home writing biography making money, little master, why dint you open your mouth about ausis chaples secrets while you were playing ...

    Yes I agree with your comment. But if the incidences mentioned in the book was not released to the media/outside world then tendulkar might have saved himself of such allegations. After release of book the media normally publishes most of these type of sensational incidences. I thing it is the Book Publishers and Printer who might have purposefully leaked information to create demand. Tendulkar might not be knowing about this matter. He has already earned sufficient money, I dont thing he has such a cheap mentality. He most of the times try to avoid unnecessary fights that might be the reason he keeps quiet instead unnecessary arguments. But when the australian team especially Ponting was attacking Harbhajan he should not have kept quiet.
