Tehran to host 2015 Asian Volleyball

Tehran, Nov 2 (IANS): Tehran has been selected to host the 2015 Asian men's Volleyball Championship.

The Iranian capital was awarded the right at the 34th FIVB World Congress in Cagliari, Italy, Saturday, reports Xinhua.

Iran won the title in the previous edition held in Dubai after defeating South Korea in straight sets in the final.

The winner of the 2015 tournament will secure a berth in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
